Dr. Scott Wehrkamp
Dr. Scott Wehrkamp is an O’Gorman High School graduate from Sioux Falls. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1975 from South Dakota State University. Dr. Wehrkamp is a 1979 graduate of Loyola University Chicago School of Dentistry. He has maintained a private practice with his brother, Jeff since 1981 in Brandon, South Dakota.
He is an Accredited Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. In addition to the AACD, Dr. Wehrkamp maintains memberships in American Dental Association, the South Dakota Dental Association, the Southeastern District Dental Society, the American Equilibration Society, and the Chicago Dental Society.
His comprehensive/cosmetic approach to case management has evolved to include orthodontics (both straight wire and Invisalign), cosmetic periodontal surgery (both alloderm root coverage and clinical crown lengthening), implants (both placement and restorative), and single tooth to full mouth reconstruction. Mentors have included Pete Dawson, Waldemar Brehm, John Kois, Paul Petrungaro and members of the AACD too numerous to list.
Dr. Scott is on staff at Avera Mckennan Hospital and at the Sioux Fall
Surgical Center in Sioux Falls.
Dr. Scott spends two or three weeks annually updating his dental education.
He pursues continuing education in and outside the United States to keep
him current with new dental technology and techniques.
The father of a son and three daughters, his interests also include fitness, bow hunting, hunting, fishing, snow skiing, and tennis with family and friends.

Dr. Jeff Wehrkamp
After graduating from Lincoln High School in Sioux Falls, South Dakota in 1973, Dr. Jeff attended South Dakota State University. He received his Bachelors of Science degree in 1978, with a major in Biology and minors in Chemistry and Art. That same year he moved to the Chicago land area of Maywood, Illinois to attend Loyola University School of Dentistry. In 1981 he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and joined his brother in practice.
Dr. Jeff is a member of the American Dental Association, the South Dakota Dental Association, the Southeastern District Dental Society, the American Equilibration Society, the Chicago Dental Society, the American Academy of Cosmetic dentistry, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. He is also a member of the Chamber of Commerce, the Optimists, the Knights of Columbus, Risen Savior Catholic Church, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, and Ducks Unlimited of which he is currently the area chairman.
Dr. Jeff has held various active positions within these organizations, the most noteworthy are past president of the Southeastern District Dental Society, Delegate and Trustee of the South Dakota Dental Association, President of the Brandon Chamber of Commerce, President of the Brandon Jaycees, and was awarded the first Young Dentist of the Year recognition in South Dakota. He is also listed in the 21st edition of Who's Who in the Midwest.
Dr. Jeff pursues continuing education with a passion. He enjoys going with his brother to stay abreast of dental technology.
Dr. Jeff married his wife Sandy in 1981. Sandy has her Masters Degree in Consumer Science and teaches at Lincoln High School. She is also avid in teaching land and water aerobics.
Dr. Jeff and Sandy have three children, Jeremy, Jessica, Tanner, and a daughter-in-law, Emily, who is married to Jeremy.
Dr Jeff's interests include hunting, fishing, building and art. He also enjoys golf, tennis and a regular fitness program.

Dedicated Team
We have four dental assistants, three clerical staff, and two dental hygienists. We have a hygienist and an assistant who have been with us for 20 years and the overall staff average is over 12 years. We feel this not only says a lot about loyalty and dedication to the doctors, but also speaks volumes about the type of dentistry being performed.

Jerri – Registered Dental Hygienist: Jerri is a graduate of Loyola University of Chicago Dental Hygiene Program. Jerri has worked with us and provided patient care since 1982. Her level of care and dedication is nothing short of 5 stars. She not only spends time with each patient treating their hygiene needs, but also educates them on how tooth decay, gum infection and mouth odors are totally preventable. Jerri is certified in nitrous oxide analgesia and administration of local anesthesia for the added comfort of the patients requiring these services. Jerri enjoys spending time with her family, attending her daughters’ activities, vacationing, and camping with her family. Jerri, her husband, and two daughters live in Sioux Falls. Christina - Registered Dental Hygienist: Christina is a graduate of the University of South Dakota Dental Hygiene Program. Christina is our newest staff member, joining our team in December 2004. Patient response to Christina has been fantastic … "she is good, she is thorough, she is gentle" are comments we have heard. She is comfortable treating simple hygiene situations associated with children as well as the more complex periodontal problems encountered with adults. She spends the time necessary with education to help patients get control of their problems. Jennifer - Financial Coordinator: Jennifer has worked with us since 1995. Her main responsibility is helping patients find the best way to finance their dental needs. She helps patients with payment options, dental insurance reimbursement, flex plan spending, and dental care credit plans. Jennifer works closely with Jean to show patients how to pay for the services they need and desire. Her interests include, shopping, boating, and spending time with family and friends. Jean – Treatment Coordinator: Jean has worked with us since 1994. Her primary responsibility is working with patients to develop a relationship where they feel comfortable. We want patients to feel comfortable with their entire experience from the initial greeting, to gathering information, patient x-rays, diagnosis, treatment planning, financial arrangements, receiving treatment, and setting up a life long plan for prevention. Jean is our "go to" person for patients needing answers to most questions pertaining to their needs. Jean’s interests are running, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Debbie – Scheduling Coordinator: Debbie has worked with us since 2005. She is our “concierge”. She is most often the first person to greet you on the phone or when you enter our office. One of her primary duties is to assure smooth patient flow. Rest assured, she will either find a solution for you or the right person to answer your questions if she, herself, cannot. Her interests include spending time with family and friends, taking care of their puppies, reading, and weekends away. Debbie resides in Brandon with her husband, son and daughter. Deana - Dental Assistant: Deana had worked with us since 2003. Her willingness to learn new techniques has made her a welcome member of our team. She brings work experience from a prior dental office and has been able to help us bring in new technology such as digital x-rays. Her interests include spending time with her family, horseback riding, traveling, attending her two son's sporting events and camping. She has a 19 year old son, Ley and 17 year old son, AJ. Ashley – Dental Assistant: Ashley has worked with us since 2005. She has a natural ability to quickly pick up on new procedures as well as having a friendly personality.
