One thing you will realize is many cases require a combination of procedures to accomplish the desired result. But many cases also require less than the patient had originally expected.

Not only was she very pleased with her new, beautiful smile, but her husband thanked us for giving him his wife back, “She now smiles just like she did years ago when we were first married.”

10 Porcelain Crown Restorations

This 56 YOF was not happy with her present dentist and sought a second opinion from Dr. Scott for what could be done to give her beautiful, “natural” looking teeth. She had, over the years, a lot of dental work done and was not happy with the results. She felt her teeth didn’t look real. Dr. Scott explained many of the existing crowns were failing and to truly transform her smile it would take a surgical procedure to allow for correct proportions and crowning all her teeth. She was ecstatic with the end result and told the doctor and assistants her new smile made her feel like a rock star!

Surgical Crown Lengthening (10 teeth) and 28 Porcelain Crowns

This 56 YOF wasn’t happy with the black spaces around her two front teeth and how this affected her smile. She was also concerned because one of her front teeth was a crown on an implant. Dr. Scott showed her how it was really a four tooth problem due to the triangular shapes of her teeth. It would also require a surgical procedure to allow for proper tooth proportions and eliminate the black triangular spaces. Our patient was very happy with the results as her concerns were all taken care of.

Surgical Crown Lengthening 2 teeth and 4 Porcelain Crowns

This 25 YOM was a hockey playing, college student in the United States originally from Canada. He had previously damaged his two front teeth while playing hockey in Canada and where he received dental treatment. He now chipped one of his crowns but shared he was never happy with the shape or match of these crowns. Dr. Scott removed the crowns, replaced the questionable restorations beneath the crowns with bonded fiber posts and core buildups, and bonded on two all porcelain crowns. Our patient was very happy with the natural appearance of these crowns with the added characterizations to better blend with his adjacent teeth.

This 36 YOM had been somewhat concerned for some time about how his teeth were chipping and wearing away, but hadn’t found a dentist who could give him direction or a plan to save his teeth. Dr. Scott put together a detailed plan coupled with a diagnostic wax-up of all teeth to be restored, which became the template to replicate. Ten porcelain crowns ultimately restored all but two of this patient’s upper teeth and all others were stabilized with direct composite restorations. The patient now readily smiles which directly reflects his wonderful attitude.
